Upper Key Stage 2 Reading Diary
North East Learning Trust
The North East Learning Trust commissioned Education Design Works to create a collection of reading diaries for each of their primary schools. The diaries would be individually branded to go in line with each of the schools branding policies.
The upper key stage diary designed for those students in years 5 and 6 has activities to help students towards SATS, statuary spelling for the year 5 and 6 students and information about the schools accelerated programme.. The reading diary pages consist of a weekly reading, spelling, times table and parental communication section. The diaries had been printed so that they will have enough entry slots to last for 2 academic years, saving on printing and environmental cost. The reference section at the end of the diary focuses on all subject help from mathematics, science, grammar, bulling, internet safety to the schools marking policy.
The reading diaries were digitally printed on 80gsm with 150gsm covers, acetate cover for added protection and finished with a metal spiral bind for durability.
